Mayan Adventure Indoor Waterpark – Guest Code Of Conduct
Our goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all Mayan Adventure Indoor Waterpark guests. Please review the following policies and procedures. At check-in, you will be required to sign a code of conduct waiver.
1. Guests enjoying the waterpark agree to comply with all waterpark policies, rules, and regulations.
2. Wristbands are required for all waterpark access, this includes the Arcade. Wristbands are distributed by the front desk upon hotel check-in.
3. Wristbands are color-coded to reflect guest departure date.
4. One wristband will be issued per person. Lost wristbands will be replaced at a cost of $30.00. Adjustments to wristbands must be done at the front desk, no exceptions.
5. Guest giving their wristband to someone else for entrance to the waterpark will be blocked from re-entering the waterpark without refund.
6. Swim diapers designed specifically for pool use are required to be worn by children not yet toilet trained.
7. Children who are not toilet trained, or have difficulty getting to the restroom on time to prevent an accident must wear a swim diaper. Swim diapers are available for purchase in the waterpark gift shop.
8. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and will not be issued a wristband without an adult accompaniment.
9. Monitoring your child/children remains your responsibility even when lifeguards are present.
10. All guests who want to enjoy the water slides must be 42 inches or taller(all bathers use the slides at their own risk).
11. Lifeguards and Management have final authority on safety decisions.
12. Every two hours, we ask for your corporation in exiting the pools while a 15 minute safety break is conducted.
13. To provide continuous training for our lifeguards, sporadic audits will be conducted.
These audits may include the use of baby dolls or live test victims. The scenarios are made to be as realistic as possible. Please do not call 911 unless you are asked to by stuff member.
14. Proper bathing attire (a standard and approved swimsuit) is required- Basketball shorts, sports bra’s, etc DO NOT QUALIFY as approved swim appearel.
15. Hotel guests using the waterpark must wear proper attire including footwear in all public places of the hotel.
16. The use of ANY floatation device (besides U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets) is strictly prohibited. All personal life jackets (including build-in swim suits) will be checked and given an approval wristband if access granted.
17. Guests that violate the rules will be asked to leave the waterpark. No refund will be issued.
18. The pools are chlorinated and are accordance with State and County requirements. They are monitored several times per day to ensure chemical levels are within safe, mandated limits.
19. The Mayan Adventure Indoor Waterpark is fully staffed with lifeguards during operational hours. The undersigned is aware that children must be accompanied by an adult and no person may swim alone.
20. No outside food or beverage will be permitted in the Waterpark.
ADDITIONAL MAYAN ADVENTURE INDOOR WATERPARK RULES OF USE
- Proper attire must be worn in the waterpark-No cutoffs, gym shorts, t-shirts-thong bathing suites and transparent colored suits.
- Bandages must be removed before entering the water and please notify the lifeguard staff of any pre-existing medical conditions
- We suggest removing any loose jewelry before entering the water. The Holiday Inn Elmhurst and Mayan Adventure Indoor Waterpark are not responsible for any lost or stolen property.
- Please shower before entering the water and wash your hands after using the restrooms.
- Spitting or spouting water from your mouth is not permitted. Please do not chew gum or tobacco in the waterpark.
- Running in the water or on the deck area is not permitted.
- Hard plastic and glass containers are not allowed in the waterpark.
- Please follow all waterpark rules or may result in your dismissal from the waterpark as- “Illinois laws requires riders to obey all warnings and your directions of amusement rides and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to the injury of themselves or others. Riders must report injuries prior to leaving premises”.
- The Village of Elmhurst does have a curfew for those under the age of 18. Sunday-Thursday-11pm and Friday-Saturday-12-midnight.
I hereby for myself, heirs, executors and adminstrators, waive and release all rights and claims for damages I may have against Mayan Adventure Indoor Waterpark and the Holiday Inn Elmhurst, its agents, owners and representatives, and successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered you/me in connection with any participation in all programs.
I have received and will read and follow all Mayan Adventure Indoor Watepark policies rules and regulations and agree to comply with them dirung the duration of my visit.
