Looking to hold a Mayan Adventure for a birthday, scout outing, sports team celebration, or company picnic? Then let the journey begin here!

You and your guests will enjoy hours of waterpark excitement as you venture through the temple, zip down the Grand Mayan Falls Tube Slide or the Howling Monkey Body Slide, drift along the Oogaboo Lazy River, test your competition in the Twisted Lizard Family Activity Pool, and climb about the Parrot Island Interactive Play Station. Don't forget to take a breather and relax in one of our Plunge, Vortex, or Swirlpools, as well. There's fun for everyone!

Please note: A minimum of 10 paid guests is required for all birthday party packages. The 10 paid guests does not include the birthday child or the complimentary chaperones that are included within the packages.


 BIRTHDAY FAQs
 

1. Does the price include tax and gratuity?
    No, the price is subject to a 12% service charge and the prevailing sales tax.


2. If parents want to hang out at the waterpark, but they are not swimming, are there special rates for them?

  Every person in the waterpark is required to have a wristband. Therefore, if additional adults want to stay and watch, there is a $10.00 spectator fee. 
 

3. Does the price include birthday invitations, tablecloths, decorations, utensils, etc. for the party room?

 The pricing includes everything listed in the party package, including birthday invitations, tablecloths, decorations, utensils, balloons, and a personalized birthday sign.
 

4. Will there be lifeguards watching the birthday guests?

 We have certified lifeguards on duty to ensure the safety of our guests. However, they are not there as babysitters or chaperones, so please plan for your party guests accordingly.
 

5. Is the party limited to certain areas of the waterpark?

 No, you will have access to all areas of the park. Certain features in our water park do have height restrictions of 42” tall for safety reasons.
 

6. Do I have to bring my own towel?

 Yes. The waterpark has gone green in order to conserve energy and resources. Please make sure you and your guests bring towels.
 

7. Is my arcade time included within the 4 hours?

 Yes, if you have purchased tokens, they must be utilized within your 4 hour party time.
 

8. Will there be someone in the party room helping with the festivities?

 You will have a personal party host that will greet your party and host your event during the hour in the party room.
 

9. What is your "goody bag"?

 Our goody bags contain candy, 2 silly bandz, a pencil, a notepad, and a package of fruit snacks.  Subject to change.
 

10. Who makes your cakes, and what are our cake decoration options?

 Our cakes are made by a local bakery. You may bring cake top decorations if you would like to add to the cake. We will inscribe the cake with any wording you may like. Special characters and images are available for an additional fee.
 

11. Am I allowed to bring in outside food?

 We do not allow any outside food or beverages into our waterpark. Also, leftover food is not to be removed from the party room due to the hotel’s insurance liability.
 

12. What type of decorations can I bring?

 You are welcome to bring in your own themed paper goods. Balloons are not allowed within the waterpark itself, however, they can be brought in your party room during the hour allotted to you.
 

13. What do you need in terms of deposit and final payment?

 After you have booked your party date with the Meetings and Events Coordinator, a contract will be drawn up and sent to you. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit will be due with the signed contract. Five (5) business days prior to your event, your final guaranteed number of attendees and remaining balance will be due. If it’s within one week of the party date, then payment will be due in full at the time of the contract signing.
 

14. What if I have extra people show up?

  If you have additional guests show up for your party on the day of, you will be charged the applicable fee. Please realize that we schedule both party hosts and your party space according to the number of guests you are expecting. We require a final count five days prior to your party in order to minimize the influx of additional guests as much as possible, as they are not guaranteed space. 
 

15. What if we want to stay longer?

  For additional time in the waterpark, there is a charge of $5.00 per person, per hour.  There is only 1 hour allotted in the party room, however, we do have cabanas available for rent.
 

16. Where do we sit during the 3 hours in the waterpark?

  We will have a storage bin available for you to keep your things in until it is time to go into the party room.  There are tables and chairs around the waterpark for your convenience, as well as cabanas available for rent.
 

17. Can we stay overnight?

  If you were looking to extend your party for the night, we offer a $30.00  discount off of your waterpark package room.
 

18. Are waivers required for everyone?

  Waivers are required for anyone utilizing the waterpark.
